Happy Golden Week vacation to all our families and we will see you back on the 7th of May.

Congratulations to our Grade 5 and 6 Students for their Exhibition
This week our primary school graduating class held their big graduation project - the student exhibition! They did a fantastic job of researching and presenting their learning - well done to all and many thanks to all our parents who joined the viewing days to support them and of course our staff!

DSKI Visit to Global Tech
Building on the themes of our recent STEM Week, Grade 4 enjoyed a wonderful visit to the Global Tech battery testing laboratory here in Kobe.

It was a joy to see the children dive into a hands-on workshop, where they built their own batteries and connected them to music boxes. There was a real sense of wonder as they discovered that by linking batteries in series, they could increase the voltage to make the music play louder and clearer. After a fascinating tour of the facility and a chance to chat with the staff about their daily work, the students headed back to school with a much deeper, practical understanding of the science that powers our world.

It was a truly memorable day of discovery for our young scientists!

To me, language is more than just words, it’s a bridge for friendship and a window into a rich heritage.
Starting next semester, I’ll be hosting a Chinese Club every Tuesday. We’ll be covering everything from the basics of Pinyin and Chinese characters to exploring some wonderful classic texts.
If you’re interested, I’d love to invite you to a trial lesson on May 19 th! come join us and let’s start this amazing language journey together. Hope to see you there!
