Many thanks for all the responses for the cup and plate making, orders are now closed and the teachers will make them shortly!

Events for the rest of the school year
Please see below for a guide to school events for March - June. When we planned our calendar back in July we were all a bit optimistic that Coronavirus would be gone by now, but unfortunately it is still very much part of our lives. So we have modified the events to be in line with our current operating procedures.

The biggest change is unfortunately the cancellation of our spring fair. We are all very sad we had to do that but of course we wouldn't be able to have an event such as that. We are hoping that next school year will see a return to a more normal life after the vacination programme has had its effect and if we are lucky, see you at the Oktoberfest!

Please note - due to spring fair cancellation Saturday the 10th is now a holiday and the day off on Monday the 12th April is now a school day.

Student Cups and Plates

Open Day

We had a very good open day yesterday, with a lot of interest in our school from local and overseas families. We were also happy to host a local international kindergarten principal, who was keen to see our school. Thankyou to our PTA and community for the support!

School Events in Spring

Just to let you know, we are reviewing our school events for the rest of the year given the continuing coronavirus situation. Our teachers have been looking at ways to make them work and at oru board meeting on the 17th February next week we will finaize our plans and publish the updated events in next weeks blog.

Natural Disaster Policy Review

We are currently reviewing our procedures in case of an earthquake or typhoon.

In the case of a natural disaster causing damage to the school building we will goto one of the official emergency shelters (see parent handbook, school policies section page 54) until students are collected by parents.

If you live off Rokko Island and would like another family to collect your child on your behalf, please fill in the consent form here.
