After School Clubs

Starting from February, Semester 2

Many thanks for the feedback in our recent survey about clubs, language lessons and after school care. We had a very good number of responses, so thankyou very much. We have taken your ideas and comments and are currently making our schedule which we will publish in January. We will also give information about how you can sign your child up for clubs by online registration. One change from previously, we will try and offer clubs for all age students from kindergarten upwards every day, so not only just for primary students!

We will also be extending our care hours to 5.00pm as there was a lot of positive feedback for this. The 6.00pm option was not requested so much, so we plan to offer this in the new school year from August if there is still a need. We are also looking at how we can offer a second school bus round departing at 6.00pm if this would help families.

Parent Clubs

Our pre-covid families may remember our parent programme, we offered English, German and Japanese lessons for parents, bollywood dance classes, boxercise and wine tasting! We would like to start parent clubs up again, so please watch out for this.

- If any parents woud like to run a parent club, let us know!

English lessons for parents are still running with Ms Rashidova, we will send out a semester 2 sign up in January.

Parent Handbook

We will update and publish our parent handbook for semester 2. If we have missed anything you feel should be included please give us suggestions here.

 

School Lunches

Deadline – Wednesday, December 15

We will continue to have a catered school lunch from Pizzeria del Rokko.

This time the lunch period will be between January 11 and March 31, 2022.

Orders can only be processed after payment has been made and confirmed.

Please be aware that in case of the absences or sickness of the child during the period the fee cannot be refunded.

The lunch will not come with chopsticks or fork. Your children need to bring them from home.

Early Years and Pre-School

The Early Years and Pre-School children’s lunch is Y500 each and the total cost is Y25,500

The G 1 ~ G 6 children’s lunch is Y600 each and the total cost is Y30,600.

Thankyou to Artsana Group!

We are very happy to let you know that the Playgroup and Pre-Kindergarten children received some exciting toys as Christmas presents to play with at school.

The fun and educational toys made by Chicco were kindly given to our teacher Ms.Anita U.Mönch for the children by our school sponsor. Mr.Christph Penkhues, Managing director of Artsana Group (which includes the Chicco and Recaro companies) who also donated the Recaro seats for our school bus.

The children love the new toys !

Visit from the German Ambassador to Japan, Dr von Goetze. 
We were very happy to be able to show the new ambassador to Japan around today, He and his wife came to see our school and what the students were doing. Pre-kindergarten and kindergarten performed a special welcome song and our school choir sang at the end. It was a very nice visit, many thanks to our teachers and students!
