We are happy to have students from 3 - 12 years old. We will have a mixture of art  and craft, games and fun.

Fee 50, 000 yen per child, lunch included.

Christmas Tree Lights Switching on

Many thanks to our PTA for the fantasic advent calendars made for each class which were given out at the tree lighting ceremony - and the lights look great!

Christmas Decorations

Many thanks to our PTA again for decorating our school and making it so festive.

We will have a ceremony for each class on the 25th November for switching the Christmas Tree lights on and PTA will be donating a special advent calendar to each class. Thankyou very much!

Coronavirus Policy Update
We have updated our policy to reflect the new travel requirements. 

Our policy previously required a statutory 14 day isolation period when returning to Japan as per government rules. Given the requirements are now different depending on where you go and the isolation period can be much shorter it now reads - 

Section 9

I or a family member has returned from a trip overseas, what should I do?

Any family member who has recently returned to Japan needs to follow the government requirements for isolation. Children need to be kept home during a parent's isolation period. Please inform the school office about the person, the trip and isolation period for the school to check and validate.

St Martins
Many thanks to our staff and PTA who made yesterday a really great day. The students had a very nice time doing the different activities, using their lanterns and enjoying the traditional bread snacks. One of our PTA members, Kazuna, donated water bottles for St. Martin, thankyou very much Kazuna!

St. Martin Celebration
11th November
St. Martin is around the corner and we would like to celebrate it again with the students this year but in a different way. With Covid-19 restrictions in place, St. Martin’s celebration this year will take place in school and throughout the school day instead of after school.
 
Similar to the Oktoberfest this year, there will be different stations about the life of St. Martin and about the meaning of the lanterns that the students will prepare in the week beforehand as well as songs and sharing sweets.
 
St. Martin is a Christian holiday in Germany and especially popular with children. Please click here to find out more about the history, who St. Martin was and why we celebrate it.

Kobe Tsunami Emergency Drill

You may have received an alert on your phones today regarding a Kobe city practise drill for tsunami evacuation. Here at school we took part in this and all students left the building and went to our assembly area in the fashion museum building. All went smoothly, all classes did a great job.
