Earthquake and Tsunami Drill
We had our first emergency drill of the year today. The whole school practised what to do if we have an earthquake how to evacuate the school and goto the tsunami shelter opposite us in the Fashion Plaza. We took our time today as its the first time and made sure that even in the assembly area the students are still socially distanced whilst they are sitting waiting. You can read more about our emergency procedures here.

Oktoberfest
8th October 
We have made the decision to unfortunately once again cancel our Oktoberfest community event on Saturday the 9th of October. Monday the 11th will also now become a school day. We dont think anyone will be surprised. We will however move Oktoberfest to Friday the 8th and have a festival in school just for students, same as last year.

Half Days
October and February
You may also have seen half days on the 18th of October and again on the 1st of February. These are for the parent conferences with teachers. As class sizes are bigger this year it will be harder for teachers to fit all the appointments in around their normal lessons as we have done previously. So this year students should go home at 1.00pm and then teachers will have the time in the afternoon to book conferences with parents. Appointments will still be available during the week, but the half day makes a new block of time available.

Welcome Back
Its been a very nice start to the school year, We hope your children have all enjoyed their first days back and we look forward to the rest of the school year!

New preschool students welcome ceremony

Monday 23rd 
11.00am
We look forward to seeing all of our new primary school preschoolers on Monday.
We will have our traditional welcome ceremony in the multi purpose room and please dont forget your school cones!

Parent Teacher Meetings
27th August
We will be hosting our first parents meetings soon. They will all be online and a chance for you to meet your new class teacher, hear about the start of the year and the plans for the next few months. Invitations will be sent out next week by your new teacher.

Gate Security Keys
You will now all have received your new family gate key. If you have any problems with it please just let us know. For safety, please dont give them to the students.
