Our new Scholastic Book Club is up and running! By placing an order you are helping to build our school library. Every dollar you spend earns our school bonus points to use towards new books for our students!

We would love to see your children in their fantastic costumes again! There will be awards for the best homemade, spookiest and class favourite costume.
The children will have the opportunity to trick or treat and show their costumes to the other classes.
If you would like your child to bring their own trick or treat bag, they are more than welcome to do so.

Friday 3rd November

Green Belt on Rokko Island
We are happy to invite all parents of Grade 3 - 6 to our cross country event.
Please make sure that your child wears the school t-shirt, has a hat, an extra water bottle, a coat to keep warm when not running and a nice, healthy snack.
The students will meet at school at 8.30am as usual and move to Rokko Park at 9.30am. Parents should join us at 10.00am at the meeting point.
At 12:30pm the children will return to school to eat their lunch and at 1.15pm we will continue with the normal school schedule. Clubs will be running as usual after school until 4.35pm.

In the run-up to the 150th anniversary of the Consulate General of the Federal Republic of Germany in Osaka-Kobe, this year's "German Film Festival in Osaka" is dedicated to the lives and work of strong women. Four German films with female protagonists will be shown, followed by a panel discussion with female directors from Germany and Japan.
We look forward to welcoming you to the event.
Open Day for DSKI Families

Marist Brothers would like to invite any interested parents to join a DSKI open day exclusively for our families. You are welcome to bring your children who can join one of our secondary classes for a short time. Families will have a tour by student representatives plus an information session by the principal.

Please join us as to celebrate St.Martins' Day with a short play, songs and a Lantern March around the local area when it is getting dark outside.
The official event will finish as soon as we return to school from the Lantern March but there will be hot childrens’ punch and mulled wine waiting for you outside of school, kindly being sponsored.
- Please note that this is a school event and so there is after school child care available until the beginning of the event at 5.00pm for families who need it.

We would like to once again invite all our families to come in and see our school at work. It is a great opportunity for parents of younger children to see what the older children do in our upper grade levels.

Come and join us in the first week of the winter holidays for our winter camp. We will be running art and games activities with music fun and a end of camp Christmas dinner party!
