Parent Cafe
Third Culture Kids: Transitions

Library, 7th November with Katelyn Boyle

Third Culture Kids are children who are raised out of their parents’ home cultures, or spend most of their “growing up” years abroad. During this cafe, we’ll talk specifically about how to support TCK’s social-emotional wellbeing during international transitions. At our cafe we will discuss the impact of transitions, what to look for, about how school communities can support and what parents can do at home to help their children.

Secondary School Visit
Ascot International School are planning to open a secondary school section in which will cater to native English and also native Japanese speakers. They have very kindly offered to host an information meeting at their new site on the 14th of November at 9.00am.

You will be able to meet the principal Mr Donnellan, hear about their secondary school concept and see the new campus.

We will meet here at the school and transportation will be provided to their campus and back.
