Message from PTA
Hope you all had a successful school year and are now getting ready for the summer holidays full of fun and excitement!

As you can see from the 2022-2023 school calendar, Oktoberfest 2022 is scheduled on Saturday, October 8. For those who haven't experienced DSKI Oktoberfest before, it's not only the beer festival as you picture in your mind when you hear "Oktoberfest" but also the biggest fundraising event for school. Oktoberfest project team has been set up in PTA and the team has already started the planning since the end of May. Although the size of the event is likely to become smaller than the one DSKI used to have before COVID pandemic, the team is committed to coming up with enjoyable and creative ideas.

So, we would like to ask for your cooperation in DSKI community.
Our favorite Tombola/raffle will be back and we are looking for sponsors who can provide school with prizes. Do you have any unopened miscellaneous goods including toys and books sitting untouched at home? Or if you are a business owner, can you provide vouchers of restaurants, massage, trial consultation with cosmetic dermatology etc? Or if you are a sports trainer, can you provide us free lessons?

The profit from Oktoberfest including tombola/raffle will be kept in PTA's saving account and used for purchasing school supplies such as STEM related items, school facility development and so on. So this is the great opportunity for parents to support school and our children's learning.

If you are interested in, please reach Yuko Hosoda at pta.treasurer@dskobe.org
Thank you very much for your cooperation in advance!
