Morning Parking at Drop Off
Please can we ask parents not to park on the street at morning and afternoon drop off or pick up. Please drop and go if you can.

For parents who do need to park at drop off, between 8.20am and 8.40am DSKI families can park in the TOHO supermarket car park free of charge. A big thankyou to them.

Please understand though that TOHO has agreed only on condition it doesn't cause any inconvenience to their operations with delivery trucks - so please only use the parking bays. If it is full, please use the Times car park opposite the school.

Earthquake Precautions
We had our first earthquake and tsunami practise of the year today and all went well. The students did a great job and everyone was calm and no one scared.

We are updating our natural disaster proceedures and would like to ask -

If the rokko liner or bridge becomes unusable after an earthquake and you live or work off island, would you like another family to collect your child on your behalf?

Please click here to let us know.

All students will be supervised by staff until picked up and for as long as needed at school or at our designated evacuation assembly point - the atrium of the fashion museum building. You can find our full policy here.

Oktoberfest
8th October
10.00am - 2.00pm
We are happy to announce the return of Oktoberfest - it will be a child centered day of food, fun and games!

Just a note about safety, we will be putting precautions in place to keep the event as safe as possible, for example with mask wearing, disinfectant stations and only having school families attend, so no external visitors.

We will also be running it as an alcohol free event, for this year only, just to be safe and to really emphasize it is a fun, family day for kids.

Help please
Tombola
We would like to ask for donations we can use as prizes in our tombola. We will have a drop box in our main entrance from Monday the 12th. Please just drop off any toys or gifts we can use as prizes (new items only please).

Drinks
If any families would like to donate soft drinks we can use on the day, please just give them to the school office.

Many thanks to the team for all their hard work making this happen, very much appreciated!
