Parent Cafe
26th February 2025
9.00 am STEM Room
As parents, we often wonder how our child will learn best. We motivate, support and help them with schoolwork at home - but it is never easy. We try to understand their pattern of absorbing information and the effectiveness of the learning method at school. But how could you support your child by developing the home environment that best suits the learning style and maximizes your child's potential?

Join us for a Parent Cafe with Ms. Faye as we look at the topic on, "Understanding My Child as a Learner." Identify and understand your child's learning style and apply some strategies to support their educational journey.

International Book Day
March 6th
We are excited to celebrate with a wonderful day dedicated to the joy of reading! This special event is a fantastic opportunity to inspire a love for books and storytelling in our children.

Cozy Up with a Good Book!
To make the day extra special, children are invited to:
- Wear pyjamas for cozy reading
- Bring their favourite book to share beloved stories with classmates.

Fun Picture Challenge - Please do at home!
Before International Book Day - together with your child to find an odd or unique way to read a book—perhaps inside a basket, under a bed, or in a pillow fort! Capture the moment and share it with your homeroom teacher.

Exciting Activities on the Day
- Drop Everything and Read (DEAR)
A special whole-school moment where everyone pauses to enjoy a book together.

- Storytelling for Early Years
Parents are warmly invited to visit the classroom and read a story to the children in English or their home language.

- Storytelling Carousel in Primary
Invited storytellers will bring stories to life by reading different genres, such as myths and fables, while classes rotate to listen to each one.

This will be a wonderful celebration of books, imagination, and the power of stories. We look forward to seeing our children enjoying a magical day of reading together!
