Congratulations to Tamaki! 
We are proud to announce that Tamaki from Grade 2 has been selected for the German Embassy Art Contest “My Germany” 2025 for her beautiful painting depicting St. Martin. Tamaki’s artwork wonderfully captures the spirit of sharing and kindness celebrated in St. Martin’s story. 

Congratulations, Tamaki, on this impressive achievement and for representing our school with creativity and heart!

Sankt Martin
Tuesday, November 11th
Blue Park – Open-Air Amphitheatre
4:00 PM – Assembly / Performance, Parade 4:30 PM – 5:30 PM

Please note that the meeting point for St. Martin’s Day has changed! We will now gather at the open-air amphitheatre for a lovely assembly to start the celebration. All families are warmly invited to join us to enjoy the performance, followed by the lantern parade and a parent-student social gathering afterward.

If you are unable to collect your child at 3:30 PM, a childcare service is available, and our team will bring your child to the amphitheatre. Please note that childcare ends at 4:00 PM, and we kindly ask that you join your child from that time. If you need child care from 3.30pm - 4.00pm please click here to register.

There will be no after-school clubs on this day. The school bus will run as usual, so please let the school office know if your child will not take the bus.

Flu and Covid-19 Vaccinations

Board Presentation for families in Grade 4-6

A talk regarding the secondary school expansion. The board will re-share details about the project, the principal will explain the pedagogical programme and you are welcome to ask any question you may have.

We are excited to invite all parents to our new style sports day and cross country events where our students will collaborate in teams to showcase their sportsmanship and teamwork. Come cheer on your children as they participate in various new and exciting activities.


Please can we ask all students to:

  • Wear their school t-shirt and trainers (shoes to run in)

  • Bring their water bottles and snacks

  • Bring a hat and sunscreen


After the end of sports day or the cross country you may take your child directly home but please inform your homeroom teacher.

1:30pm Students and teachers make their way to the Green Belt (parents may either walk there with us or meet us there)

Christmas Jazz Concert
Monday 8th December
2.30pm - 3.30pm in the MPR
Phillip Strange, the renowned jazz pianist, will be back at our school. This time he will team up with his musician friends Minoru Satomura (saxophone), Ryo Hatakeyama (bass) and Von Baron (drums) for an afternoon of jazz sounds inspired by Christmas. All parents are cordially invited to share this delightful experience with our students and teachers.

Please come along and enjoy an evening of seasonal music in collaboration with the German Consul Osaka. Food, drink, music and a social event for all in our community! We will publish the schedule soon, so please save the date!

School closes at 1.00pm
Our last day we will have Santa visit all the classes with a special present for each child!
(Please note the previously scheduled Christmas Market will not go ahead, we will hold the concert on the 16th instead)


Winter Camp 2025

(24th is a half day due to Christmas Eve)

For the first time this year we will be offering a bilingual English/German camp.
We will run a range of art, music and games activities for children to celebrate the winter season!
