Developing Real-World Skills Through the PYP Exhibition
In the PYP, students are encouraged to be curious and caring lifelong learners with the capacity to take responsible action. A crucial part of the programme is the exhibition, a culminating in-depth and collaborative project held during the final year of the programme. Through this session, we hope to share you how this culminating experience is the pinnacle of PYP education.

School Reports
We will be sending out our student report cards on today. We will be making a change this year by sending them as a pdf document and not as a printed report. This is due to our move to becoming a more paperless school and of course it is better for the environment.

We do understand that reports are needed for applications to schools and so any family who needs a signed and stamped paper copy can ask at the school office and we will provide one.

Ship Visitors from Germany

We had a couple of very interesting visitors who happened to drop by, two German engineers from a container ship in port for 24 hours. They saw the school from the mono-liner. Curious to see a German school overseas, they came in to look around and also had a chat with our students about life on a big ship. Very interesting for all!

Christmas Market
December 14th 10.20am - 12.00pm
We will open with performances at 10:20AM in the Multi-Purpose Room.
After that, feel free to wander through our market square and see the wonderful Christmas crafts our students have produced using natural, recycled, and various other materials. Some students will be offering activities and others selling treats to eat! The Christmas market will end at 12:00PM, when the children will gather together back inside the Multi-Purpose Room to close our celebrations.

After our whole school gathering (and a visit from Santa!), all students will return to their homeroom classes for 1PM dismissal. Children grades Pre-KG to Grade 1 must bepicked up by parents at their homerooms.

Open your hearts as well as your wallets, as proceeds from the sales of students’ work will go to charity! This year we are donating our earnings to help raise search and rescue dogs here in Kobe. Barring a natural disaster that needs their help, the dogs will be present to greet customers at a special booth during the event!

Last Day

Just a reminder we will end school at 1.00pm on our last day of school.
