Just a reminder - 
Tuesday and friday no clubs due to St Martins and the Christmas Tree festival in Osaka.

St Martin
November 12th
4.00pm - 5.30pm
The schedule will be as follows:
● school children: 3.30 to 3.45 pm: small snack in the classroom
● Early Years children: 3.30 to 4.00 pm: small snack in Early Years

Please don’t forget to give an additional snack to your children in the morning. Parents of children in
Early Years, who are in afternoon care, can pick up their children after the snack at around 4.00 pm.

● 3.45 to 4.15 pm: break time on the playground
● 4.15 pm: stage play by the German Grades
● around 4:45 pm: lantern procession on Rokko Island (around 30 minutes)
● around 5:15 pm: getting together with drinks and “Weckmann”
● 6.00 pm: end of event

Rokko Island Disaster Preparedness Drill
13th November
2.00pm
Rokko Island will be having disaster preparation practise on Wednesday afternoon. Our school will be taking part with an earthquake and tsunami drill.
If any parents would like to take part, please goto Sun Hiroba on the 3rd floor of the Kobe Fashion Museum where you can take part in emergency and first aid training.

Osaka Christmas Market
15th November 4.30pm - 5.30pm
Grade 1 - 6
We will once again be performing at the Osaka Christmas switching on the tree lights ceremony at the Sky Building in Umeda.
Its a huge event and we are very happy to be on stage, it is also the venue of the German Christmas market, so please come along and enjoy!
Please RSVP here if you would like your child to take part.

Important information - 
Students will be picked up from the school with the bus provided by Osaka Christmas Market committee at 3:15 pm. 

Our students will be on stage from 4:40 pm for the opening ceremony of the Christmas Market. If you would like to see your child/children singing, please be there on time. 

Very important: If your child/children is going to sing at Osaka Christmas Market, you have to come to pick up your child/children. There will be no transportation back to school. 

After the performance, the students will get a present from Santa and will go back to the entrance hall of Umeda Sky Building. Please come to pick up your child/children. After that parents are responsible for own child/children.

Just a reminder the school will be closed for teacher training the 22nd of November.

Winter Camp
Tentative 19 - 25th December
9.00am - 3.30pm
12, 000 yen per child / per day
50, 000 yen for all 5 days
We are looking at the winter camp dates and due to the holidays we do not have a full week before Christmas. We would like to see what the interest is for dates 19th - 25th with the 25th being a half day, based around preparing and eating a Christmas lunch.
