Letter from the Chair of the School Board
Dear parents,
I am happy to inform you that Mr Alex Inman has been formally appointed as the new school principal.
As you may know he has been acting as principal for some time now and we believe that due to his knowledge of the school and his professional experience it is a good choice for us. Mr Inman has been an international school principal in Germany so has experience of the German education system and he also holds a principals license as well as extensive leadership experience in IB schools.
We wish Mr Inman success and are happy to support and work together with him as the new leadership team of DSKI.

Halloween Party
25th October
This year the PTA will be hosting a DSKI Halloween Party on the 25th of October (Friday) from 1:50-3:30 in the afternoon. Please come in your best costume. It will be a fun-filled afternoon with goodies, candies and prizes!
Osaka Christmas Market
15th November 4.30pm - 5.30pm

We will once again be performing at the Osaka Christmas switching on the tree lights ceremony at the Sky Building in Umeda.
Its a huge event and we are very happy to be on stage, it is also the venue of the German Christmas market, so please come along and enjoy!

Bicycle Safety
If we have enough interest we will run a bicycle safety course. Just to show students how they can use hand signals, cross junctions safely and just generally be more aware when cycling. We would run it before school, from 8.15am - 8.45am, to avoid any clash with lessons or clubs.
All ages welcome, free of charge, bike needed.
