New Date for Oktoberfest,
as many of you have seen we have a very big, category 5 typhoon heading for us, due to hit on the 12th of October.
Unfortunately because of this we have made the decision to move Oktoberfest to the19th of October, so one week later.
It is true that the typhoon can change course, but we have made the decision which makes most sense given the information we have today. If we leave it later to cancel, it will be much more difficult to change the plan and let the community know plus much more expensive for the school. We did discuss moving to the 13th or the 14th, but we felt the best and easiest thing to do is push Oktoberfest really clear of any possible conflict.
For your shift sign up, we understand parents may have plans. If you need to change your shift, so please just goto the shift plan here and adjust as needed.
So dates will be as follows -
12, 13, 14 October - School closed
18th October - Oktoberfest set up and school trips for students
19th October - Oktoberfest!
20th October - School closed
21st October - School day as normal
22nd October - School closed for new emperor coronation
